Please excuse my enthusiasm, but wanted to share more wonderful images from my latest African Safari. As I stated in Newsletter #12, this year’s photographic opportunities were bountiful, and my group made many, many outstanding images. Hopefully, they will post a few on my website for you to enjoy. Please feel free to post any of your favorite shots on the website also. We all learn and have more fun when we share our work.

A big “thank you” to the judges of the Florida Outdoor Writer’s Association for awarding me first place in the color photography category in the Excellence In Craft Awards. Once again, my Least Bittern with Chicks image was the star. This is the same image that awarded me high honors and was on exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum in Washington DC!!!

A quick reminder about the upcoming birding festival in Titusville, Florida this November 17 thru the 21st. On Saturday the 20th, I will be giving a slide presentation called “A Mixed Bag O’ Birds”, which is exactly what the title says. Come and enjoy many of my favorite images of birds I’ve photographed from around the world. I will also be conducting three (3) Instructional Wildlife Photo Workshops in-the-field during the festival. Stop by my booth and learn more about other upcoming trips, workshops and view some of the images up close and personal.
